Where Every Gift Becomes a Story
At Windfall International, every donation transforms into something real — a classroom filled with books, a meal for a hungry student, or a youth gaining the skills to create their own future.
These stories are living proof that hope multiplies when people care.

Amina’s Journey
Kenya
Amina, 14, used to walk nearly five miles to school each day, often missing classes because she couldn’t afford bus fare. Through Windfall’s Transportation Fund, she now travels safely to school every morning and dreams of becoming a teacher.
“Now I can go to school every day and help others learn — just like my teacher helps me.”

Marcus
United States
Marcus, a mechanical engineering student in Georgia, received a Windfall Need-Based Scholarship that allowed him to stay in college and focus fully on his studies. Today, he’s interning at a clean energy company and mentoring younger students.
“It’s more than a scholarship — it’s a bridge between where I was and where I’m going.”

Tariro
Zimbabwe
When Tariro lost her parents at 16, she couldn’t afford secondary school. Through Windfall’s Vocational Education Program, she joined a tailoring class, learning to design and sell clothes. She now runs a small business and teaches other girls in her community.
“Windfall helped me learn a skill that feeds me — and my hope.”

Li Wei
Cambodia
Li Wei joined a local Windfall-supported program that provides school meals and learning materials for rural children. Her attendance improved dramatically, and she’s now ranked top of her class.
“I don’t feel hungry at school anymore — I can learn better.”
Li Wei, Elementary Student
Why Stories Matter
Each story reminds us that behind every number is a person — a dream, a future, and a chance at change.
By sharing these journeys, we build empathy, trust, and a global community that believes in education as a right, not a privilege.
“When one child rises, we all rise.”
